Canada's tiniest province couldn't offer a better family vacation even if it had been designed exclusively for the purpose. It is known for it's beautiful beaches, gorgeous farmland, splendid fall color and an abundance of recreational activities. This is a limited transfer site because of space. Those wishing to transfer to PEI should contact Frank Best for confirmation. Temperatures should range in the mid 40s.
The citizens of PEI love tourists, so it doesn't cost to drive across the bridge to get there, but if you want to leave the Island, there is a toll of about 35.50 per car load to take the 13 km bridge.   There is also a toll for the ferrie.   Northumberland Ferries sail from Wood Islands, PEI, and Caribou, NS, up to 17 times a day, peak season. The journey takes about 75 minutes. All prices are flat rates starting at $47each way. So, now no matter how many people you squeeze into your car, you'll only pay $47.

You can also fly to Charlottetown or take the Bridge or Ferrie from Halifax NS.

There are many nice motels in Charlottetown.

Those coming to Canada from elsewhere should be sure to have with them a birth certificate (if they are U.S. citizens) or a passport when they cross the border.  A driver's license may not be sufficient
as it was years ago.  We would not wish to see anyone miss the Feast due to not having sufficient documentation when attempting to cross the border.
